I received a significant rebate from my 2011/12 fees and it appears that fees are reduced for 2012/13. Thank you Republican Texas Agriculture Commissioner todd Staples. Glad you are not a Democrat.

I was looking for Douglas Oldmixon Texas Real Estate Commission Administrator on-line when I stumbled upon the requirements needed in order to sit on the TREC commission. I may have read them before but I guess this is the first time I’ve ever paid attention to them. I was Shocked! Shocked, I tell you, to discover that a licensed Texas inspector cannot sit on the TREC commission. In fact, the requirements appear to be written with the specific intent of excluding Texas Inspectors from holding a seat on the Commission. It’s disgraceful.

I concur, but it is not surprising in such an organization.
We (inspectors) are just the ‘black sheep’ of the family and don’t garner any respect.
We’re there to be blamed for whatever.
The longer I inspect the more cynical I become. Very little patience anymore for so much of the b.s. that floats around us and the licensing agency.
