Good to know, thanks, Mr. Jonas.
@gromicko Nick, we really should have a section dedicated to Recall Notices (NOT recall services) to post and be able to easily locate this information.
Yes, good idea.
OK. I’ll have one built. What do you want the title of the section to be?
Appliance and Household Equipment Recalls.
And to add to this idea, how about a free service for our clients where they can access the list and check their own appliances? I can see the marketing already…
Your InterNACHI inspector will provide you with a resource to check all of your household appliances and equipment for safety and performance recalls…
If you give your clients too much info, they won’t need you.
Seems like “Appliance Recall Notices” or just “Recall Notices” would be appropriate.
Such as a web link the the CSPC site:
Good to know i see these a lot in new builds lately!
The molded plastic drain pan located at the bottom of the evaporator coil, when installed with a residential condensing gas furnace in an up-flow configuration, can overheat, melt, and deform, posing a fire hazard.
As opposed to “Replace” “Return” “Refund” etc.
Sorta the same verbiage found in most home inspector’s reports!!
So, how’s it coming???
Saint Nick’s been busy. His alter ego is Santa Claus during the Holidays.
Idea: Product Alerts & Recalls - Home Appliance Alerts & Recalls - Residential Equipment Alerts & Recalls…
Doesn’t Nathan have a recall section for one of his products?.
Thanks for the heads up, Richard.
