How do you document cloth wiring in the sub panel on a HI report and 4-point? The Citizens 4-point form only address the main panel and doesn’t asked about the sub panel. A picture is required of the sub panel so I treat all issues in the sub panel just like I would the main (documentation of cloth wiring, doubles taps, ect)…
What do you say about the cloth wiring on the HI report? It isn’t a HI discrepancy so do you document it on the HI report or not? If you don’t and do so on the 4-point I feel I would be misleading the buyer…
On the form you have Panel #1 and Panel #2 . 2 being the sub.
The 4 point wants you to document the branch wiring type of the home, not just in the panels (all panels). A home inspection should document the condition and type of wiring in the home. If it is true cloth covered branch wiring, it should be noted in both reports just as you would with active Knob and Tube wiring. Please post of photo of the wiring in question.
