To my fellow home inspectors in the Chicago Market, Does anybody know of David Cangiolosi? He show up in my little town of Schiller Park, IL but yet upon further review of his credentials he is not Licensed and is advertising as a Home Inspector. He states on his website “License Coming Soon” but on the second page he states he is Licensed.
“I have trained to be a Home Inspector, and I am licensed by the (IDFPR) Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for home inspections. I am also a member of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors)”
This market is tight enough without bogus inspectors taking jobs from us. Before I report this to the IDFPR I want to make sure he is legit or bogus.

Yes, the license number has been received and displayed since Dec.20 2013.
The orginal webpage in question was clearly marked, NOT open for business, and stated coming soon as the license was in the works with the State, but was not issued at the time in question.
