This is a great reference tool. It gives examples, figures, charts and yes it gives code references however it is not a code book.
You can show clients what you are talking about.

I’m looking at a copy of the ICC published 2015 Code Interpretations, and it is pretty much as impenetrable at the codes it’s title implies that it will explain more clearly. Mostly the difficulty in understanding these provisions has to do with code provisions and explanations that refer to other- sometimes multiple- provisions in other parts of the book, which in turn refer to other provisions.
