Rewire of a Home Performed by an Electrical Contractor and 3 Apprentices.

-50% 0f the receptacles are wired improperly.
-Improper splices of K&T in Attic and 2nd Floor areas. (Zip Cord)
-Overall mess in a home that is 80+ years old.

Seller (Electrician) agrees to repair most electrical items.

He disagrees with repair to Reverse Polarity as Receptacles are Functional, Operable and Present no real Safety Hazard.

Is there Code Reference regarding Polarity?
