Rheem Furnace, Windjammer with cracked cover.

Anyone have the latest on the status of the Rheem Windjammer blower motor cover. Did one today and noticed the cracked cover. This is the first one i’ve seen in awhile and i don’t recall where that one stands.


I’m in the middle of a report , so i’ll check back in a while.

Replaced one last month. They have now gone to an all metal cover on the 80 percenters

Thanks Gary, Isn’t that something they covered for a while? Do they still (unlikely) or is it the owners responsibility at this point?

The one I did was homeowners responsibility, however each case should be done on an invidual basis as there could be an extended warranty in effect.
