What are your thoughts on filtered vs unfiltered ridge vents?
A filtered ridge vent helps prevent dry powdered snow from blowing into the attic.

What do you think about the concern that the filter will block air flow? I know it is designed to breathe… But do you think the concerns are legitimate? Or much to do about nothing?
The filter is also a way to keep insects, birds and other critters out of the attic.
