Hi to all,


Just a quick update for Saturdays meeting.

First congratulations to Paul Makanos, John & Mike for outting on agreat chapter event, and especially for arranging for Assemblyperson Susan John to attend.

The event was well attended by members of NACHI and other organizations,we had over 50 inspectors in attendance. Susan spoke for over an hour about the NY legislation and its background, and them held a question and answer session to explain where possible the steps that inspectors will need to take to become licensed.

I would also like to thank the other speakers and attendees who made this such a great afternoon, especially it was a pleasure to meet Roy Cooke Snr who drove down from Ontario, and Dan Osbourne who has had such a possitive effect on behalf of NACHI members and the industry at large.

NACHI aquitted itself very very well, and in particular Susan John mentioned over lunch that she and her office had recieved nothing but courtesy from our members over the last year or so.
