As to your question “Romex wrapped around Heater Gas line” is a non-issue.

The cable does not look like it meets the requirement of no more than 4 1/2’ between staples. You could also say it does not follow the building surface.

And if you call it “Romex” are you sure it is Romex?. I would refer to it as nonmetallic-sheathed cable. Just my two cents:)
