Does anyone have experience inspecting mobile home frames? At what scale of rust should it be recommended that a mobile home steel frame axle be deemed beyond repair or has a limited life remaining 5-10 years? How do you tell between surface level rust and a rust deterioration that exceeds? Why is it common to button a black vapor barrier underneath the joists leaving the metal frame and metal pipe supports exposed to moisture?
