Sad day: Government voted to keep spending, borrowing, and inflating the money supply

When the government spends it has to pay for that spending, but it has no money. To pay for it, they get the Federal Reserve to print money which inflates the money supply. Inflating the money supply is inflation and causes prices of everything to go up.

So true, not to mention more money to the proxy war in Ukraine (one of the world’s hubs of child and sex trafficking, organ harvesting, money laundering etc), where Hunter 0biden has/had ties to bioweapons labs and energy companies. Powers that be are trying to push us into WWIII which could mean nuclear decimation of much of the world. VACATE the Chair.

They are voting on a budget. No more. No less.
A deal was struck, in principle, in march only to be refused by hardliners. Speaker is a pussy.
Congress is in turmoil.

So you’re saying we need to bring Newt Gingrich and the Contract with America… back.

The M2 has been dropping since May 2022. Nearly a trillion dollars in cash has been removed from economy. The inflation we’re experiencing isn’t being caused by the M2 increasing.

In fact the M2 skyrocketed by $6 trillion between Jan 20, 2017 and Jan 20, 2021 (highest increase in any 4 year cycle in American history). It’s only up $1.5 trillion since 1/20/21 (lowest increase since the Clinton era).

Only a small handful of Republicans had the balls to buck this. Up until this point the rest just kept spewing bullshit about having “The Power Of The Purse” but did nothing to exercise it!

In 2016 I wanted three things:

  1. A President who was not a career politician and hopefully heavy business background. GOT IT!
  2. A Congress that was at least a majority in both houses with the Presidents political party. GOT IT!
  3. After the election a demonstration of how totally useless Congress is! GOT IT!

We have no need for Congress in this technologically advanced age! With a few exceptions the rest are as useless as tits on a boar who waste valuable oxygen and resources best suited for the people they claim to serve!

Democrats appear to have agreed to this bill because they expect to get a separate vote on Ukraine aid; President Biden has indicated that he believes he has a deal with McCarthy to that effect. I hope they’re right.

But why did things turn out this way? Michael Strain of the right-leaning (but mostly not MAGA) American Enterprise Institute has called the fiscal confrontation the “‘Seinfeld’ shutdown” — that is, a shutdown about nothing. That’s a good line, but if we’re going to do popular culture references, I think it might be better to call it the “Network” shutdown, as in people shouting “I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore!”

Nothing short of a coup can satisfy this inchoate rage. But McCarthy evidently thought he could reduce the backlash against his deal with Democrats by betraying, or at least pretending to betray, Ukraine. That’s clearly something MAGA wants. But why?

Whatever anti-Ukraine voices like Elon Musk may pretend, it’s not about the money.

Hold my beer… Looks like Gaetz wins but it’s more like when the dog finally catches the car, what happens next. Anyway you have to give McCarthy credit he said he wouldn’t make a deal with the Democrats and they said they will broker a deal with the next guy, oh well.

The US House of Representatives voted on Tuesday to oust Kevin McCarthy as speaker – a historic moment that threatens to plunge House Republicans even further into chaos and turmoil.

The House will now need to elect a new speaker, but there is no clear alternative who would have the support needed to win the gavel. McCarthy’s political future hangs in the balance and it remains to be seen whether he will seek to win back the speakership. No House speaker has ever before been ousted through the passage of a resolution to remove them.

Let me be the very first to approve of Trump becoming Speaker of the House, America deserves this. :smirk:

“Donald Trump should be nominated as a litmus test to all these Republicans,” Jones said emphatically on InfoWars. “With all the fake charges and all the fake trials, how awesome would it be to make Donald Trump Speaker of the House?”

The phrase “Nominate Trump” was also trending Tuesday on Elon Musk’s social media site X, formerly known as Twitter—inspired at least in part by Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) unofficially nominating the former president via a viral tweet. Rep. Greg Steube quickly followed with his own suggesting that Trump could fill the role.
