In Port St. Lucie screen splines/torn screen panels. etc. do not affect the structural integrity of a professionally built and permiyyed screen enclosure.
It makes no diff. to 100+ mph winds coming from all directions. They do what they want.
The age of the screen fabric and spline have a lot to do with how well they can withstand such torture.
