Here is one for the plumbing experts. The home I inspected today had an interesting phenomenon and one that I don?t remember seeing before. When I turned on the faucet in the kitchen I got what I can only describe as sea foam in the water. The foam lasted for just a second or two and it disappeared. I turned off the water and tried again. On the second attempt I got a very small amount of foam. On the third try all was normal. This happened on all the faucets, but I didn?t have any answer for the phenomenon.

Thanks and you’re probably right, but the home was occupied and all the faucets had the same problem. It just seemed strange to me that all faucets had the same problem.

Just one more question…this has been the case for me in the past:
Is it occupied but maybe not totally? Here is what I mean...many homes here are just way too big for the single guy or someday parents who one them...you know 8500 SQ FT and they are just a couple hoping to maybe someday have kids....
In this case it happens a lot as the majority of the faucets are rarely used.

water softeners have a rep. for doing that too. my brothers does if he does’nt use the water for about 3-5 hour. clears up as soon as the system flushes it threw.
