Seeking Inspector for Hampton Roads Virginia

We are looking to add to our growing team in the Hampton Roads area. Applicants should be licensed in Virginia or be actively in training working towards licensure.

We feel that home inspector’s integrity, professionalism, and ability to offer quality and consistent customer service to our clients and agents, is just as important as their skills as a trained home inspector. Our goal is to make the home inspection experience educational and easy for our clients and their agents.

Newly licensed inspectors are encouraged to apply. We know that being able to perform high-quality home inspections takes time and practice, so we offer new team members a paid training program, where they will earn additional accreditations and certifications consistent with the HouseMaster standards. HouseMaster will also supply inspectors with the necessary equipment and subscriptions required to perform their duties.

Home inspectors must be licensed in Virginia or have the ability to become licensed prior to their start date. Applicants must be coachable, have strong attention to detail, have the ability to actively listen and react with empathy when dealing with stressed clients, and be able to communicate findings in a clear, but non-alarming manner. Applicants must have strong writing skills and be competent when working with computers.

If interested, please contact us by emailing our office manager at michelle.burke@housemaster.com
