Septic/Sewer Scope

I work primarily in the foothills and many of the homes I inspect are on a septic system. I get asked all the time if I do sewer or septic. Usually what people want is someone to run a camera through the waste line to make sure it is intact. I would like to offer this service and I am looking for training and advice. I looked at the “Inspecting Septic Systems” class, but noticed it does not seem to cover using camera equipment. Are these two separate things? Does InterNACHI provide a path to this? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Daniel, Take a look in the auxiliary inspection section of this forum; Look for posts by Peter Russell (a fellow septic inspector from NH…he posts a lot of stuff). He has a sewer camera he uses. We have local training here in NH that is pretty good.
