# Service mast, attachment or lack of

Seems like a neighborhood thing, but the first time I have seen the wires enter the meter without a raceway or attachment. What happened to the mast?

What do you think about this set up?

I think they’re going to have cheap electricity once the meter rusts out and stops turning.

Looks like someone temporarily set it up that way and then just left it for some reason.

Yes, so water could leak into panel and rust and corrode the components.

House had listed updated electrical!!!

Had knob & tube througout with fuse sub panels. (1936)

I guess they were advertising the main water panel!!
