I have a 4 ton heat pump. Running in heat mode with 14f outside temp and inside return air temp of 71f. for subcooling the sat. liquid temp is the same as the actual line temp.
the same goes for superheat not showing a difference. A 14f temp increase across the condenser coil was also taking with now strip heat running.
I agree, you have a 4 ton heat pump…

Your heat pump isn’t doing anything, either because there’s little or no refrigerant in the system, or the the valves are shot in the compressor and no refrigerant is moving.
You need a professional to take a closer look.
