Any known issues with shared wells other than worrying about their system cross contaminating? And why would they do that other than a cost saving? Thanks
I have only done a few shared systems in my rural area the reason was general location of the spring or water source.
Price of digging a well in our area can be over $10,000.00
Make sure you get signed agreements as to who owns it.
Make sure they have had it tested and checked by Certified Well Inspector.
Make sure that the unit is tested for e-coli and bacteria every month if it is near any farm animals ect.
There is lots of info at the EPA website on what you should know.
As for any advice more than this you should talk to Joe Farsetta.
