I recently had a conversation with another member about the possibility of a NACHI chapter in the shenandoah valley of Virginia. I asked Nick about it and he sent me the link to apply for president of the chapter. I would be more than willing to do just that, but I need to know how many people are interested and if anyone else would want to be the chapter president. I am afraid that, as a part-timer, I may not be able to devote the time that someone else could. Other than that reason, I have no problem with it at all.
I might point out that Virginia currently has a voluntary state licensing program, which indicates to me that the commonwealth will soon be requiring licenses. I feel it would be in our best interest to begin to step up NACHI's presence here before this happens.
Any thoughts?
