Well it was a slow day today no inspections scheduled.

So I want to the Real estate Board lunch. It was their annually meeting so good showing.
Sat with a bank VP and the conversation ended with "we're looking for a good home inspector could I have some of your cards to pass around".

Met several new agents, gave cards. One said to call Monday they have a client looking for an inspector.

Then the 50/50 drawing, you guessed it $60.00

All of this cost me $8.00 for lunch and 2 hours of my day.

Yeah. Those realtor meetings are a good deal. Get to meet lots of folks. Keep going. It will be worth your while.

I have found that ‘Sales Vantage’ groups in local Chambers of Commerce and a group called “Le Tip”, where the gopupd members limit membership to only one person from a particular vertical works.

When your turn comes to be the presenter, do a GREAT job (use my free PowerPoint or another from some other NACHI guy. Create a educational and FUNNY script to describe the pictures.) This is seen as professional and will WOW them. This is how you stand out.

It’s nice to have some slow time like that every once in awhile, just so you can have time to think.

My lunch was $9.50 and I was by myself.

All in all sounds like a productive day and you get a chance to practice promoting yourself.

Glad you had a good day.

Take some time and thank the L-rd for it.

Hope this helps.
