I’m considering selling my home inspection business. Here are some basic numbers. @1000 home inspections completed in last 12 months. Average dollar sale @ $400. 3.6% market share. Three full time inspectors at a 50/50 split plus myself. Two part time contract workers for appointment setting and telemarketing.
You could answer your own phones to cut costs and just watch the money roll in or you could keep growing the business. It seems to me that you could approximately double the market share in this location before reaching saturation or competitive saturation.
