Today’s inspection had two roofs with different pitches overlap. Where the upper roof intersected the lower roof, the soffits strapped debris and water. I recommend installing a soffit wedge (my term) to divert debris and water around.

You are correct Larry. The roof had other issues and the buyer is requesting a new roof, so hopefully the next roofer does a better job.
Funny how architects can design something like that and not think about the issues it can cause.
Or not…a lot of small detail things in building a house or building that fall on the contractor to make right.
