I am new to the inspection industry, and I am taking my exam soon. Is there any free inspection software to get me started? I can use either apple or android, just looking for a basic software noting to fancy.
Your report is your product. It has to be the best; informative and easy to read. You are reporting on a complicated and interconnected machine (a home). How you gather pictures and information on site and how you assign those pictures to an observation determines your efficiency. Focus on those issues when reviewing software, not on cost. If cost is a major issue, keep your day job and merge into inspecting, starting part time. Use the best software, not the least expensive. Lots of threads on this forum about this subject. Review them! I use Home Gauge Web Writer, nothing fancy but very good for my requirements. They have a Black Friday sale, but you missed that for this year.
Nor rookie inspectors, Kentons Narrative Library is very good to install in whatever software you choose. It gives your narratives a bump start.
