Some gorgeous InspectorPages websites.

Maybe that’s not how they should look, but that’s the way InspectorPages does it.

Jeff

Our mobile optimization is undergoing a major overhaul. It’s part of the new advanced themes. Hopefully we’ll have some of the new mobile optimizations running soon.

Then the real question is if the look is intended.

The reason that the sites look different is because they are mobile optimized. When you view a mobile optimized site it removes the visualization to make the load times faster and use less data. It also reformats the pages to make it easy to read the information. This is useful when using a smaller screen so you are not zooming and constantly loosing your place. If you want to view the site in a non mobile version you can often change the settings on your phone not to take preference of a mobile site and enter the full site. I hope this helps solve you question.

Sincerely,
Danny

Danny that is an excuse for it sucks.
I sure would move on to the next site if looking for an Inspector as it looks like a placeholder for unfinished or abandoned sites.
How is it faster needing clients to click twice other than faster for them to hire the next guy.
Can guys opt out of this on their templates?

Danny’s right: the current mobile template is an effort to optimize for a small screen, and a lower bandwidth connection. That said, we’re definitely working on new mobile optimizations that will look a lot nicer. We’re also working on a mobile options page where you’ll be able to change the look of your mobile site, as well as turn it off all-together. Look for updates within the next day or two.

Bob…

Did you get your hand smacked?? There’s a post missing.

Jeff

Hey guys,

We’ll have a new mobile tool ready shortly. In the meantime I’ve disabled our old tool so that your sites will just load in their full versions. The new tool will be opt-in, so you can choose to use it or not.

To preview the direction we’re going with the new tool, visit http://inspectorpages.com on your mobile phone. You’ll be able to add your own logo at the top, customize a special mobile-only menu, and choose a mobile-only homepage. We’re currently working out the kinks, but it should be ready to go in a week at the latest.

Here’s a video of it, if you don’t feel like testing it yourself:

Cheers,

The new mobile theme should work on all iOS and Android devices, most new-ish Blackberrys, Windows Phone 7, Palm Pre/Pixi, Samsung bada, and more.

Nice!

Wow!
Your welcome?
