Guys and Gals…I don’t know if this is the correct spot for this post…But here goes. I have a Sony Vaio Laptop that is 4 years old…(antique). The hard drive crashed, so I replaced it today. Some how over the years I have lost the “Recovery CD” and now it will not operate until I load the OS. Does anyone out there have a Recovery CD that I could buy? It had Windows XP originally. Any help would be appreciated…

Don’t mess with a recovery disc. Go out and buy a new full version of XP. If you shop around, you can probably get a full retail version of XP Pro for under $150.
Then again, now is your chance. Try this…“Honey, my work computer crashed and I need to get a new laptop. I can’t get my reports done” …etc.
