Are there any inspectors in the South Georgia area who offer apprenticeships?
We are near Atlanta but more north. We were just in Albany and Columbus for some commercial jobs. I don’t know any south GA residential inspectors that come to mind. Probably won’t have much luck with offers here in the forum. I’d maybe suggest try calling the larger multi firms in your area. From experience, apprenticeships are rare in this industry.
If no luck on an apprenticeship, you could probably find inspectors that will offer a ride along or shadowing.

Christina, like Ray suggests, you may want to contact some Mentors, CMIs or CPIs within 80 to 100 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Be discerning, as some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring and some are into it just for the $.
