Hi All.

A good site to check out www.joetedesco.com/nec
Registering for the message board is free but has to be approved (took overnight for mine).
Lots of interesting and informative subjects on electricity and such.
Now I will have to share my time on this BB with that BB!
Enjoy.

That’s an easy one for us HI’s, we would just recommend having a qualified electrician check that out for proper grounding and ground fault protection icon_rolleyes.gif

Robert,

Wouldn't we have to recommend a qualified licensed plumbing contractor check it for leaks prior to closing? ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

Yes Blaine,

You may be right ![icon_smile.gif](upload://b6iczyK1ETUUqRUc4PAkX83GF2O.gif)
Maybe we should also ask an AHJ what code we could reference for such a minor infraction

Ya know, in all honesty that looks like something that I would have seen in the marina I used to keep my boat in down in southern MD. Saw some strange “boatyard” tools there!

Joe has excellent info on his site.

Please share your "bad" pictures of electric to Joe since he freely, with acknowledgement, shares his photos and expertise.

Jeff,

Yes you did pretty good. I looked and looked for something, anything you missed ![icon_smile.gif](upload://b6iczyK1ETUUqRUc4PAkX83GF2O.gif) and the only thing I did not see was a mention of panel box clearances ie; 36" in front 30" to sides, but hey we all miss small things . Hopefully we catch the big things

A Forum for Home Inspectors has been set up, please use it when you want additional information.

There are many persons who can help, or add to the answers to questions.
