Squeaking Floor

Anyone had any dealings with a squeaking floor? This floor is located in an upstairs bathroom and it squeks a little in front of the tub/shower. The floor is carpeted in the bathroom and this townhouse has been used as a rental for who knows how long. It was built in 1979. I am wondering if water has caused some damage under the carpet. This is the only area that squeaks in the townhouse.

Thanks for any ideas

Probably some. Not necessarily alot. Gotta love the carpeted bathrooms, especially in the rentals.

Did you check around the toilet real good, as well?
