Statute of Limitations

Since the SOP is a done deal except for a few details.

How about a statute of limitations law that says Home Inspections reports are only good for a certain # of years. This should bring down E&O prices as well as benefit everyone involved.

What say ye…

I’d be careful asking for that.
You may end up with four years… which would not be a good thing.

with the state SOP, why would anyone need e&o? sop says, no warranty, no guarantee.

Absent anything is the SOP, I think standard statute of limitations would apply in Florida which is I believe 2 years and up to 4 years based on certain conditions.

30 days…Or closing, whichever comes first…
