Storm Alert: Another hurricane could be headed for Florida

Not again!

A tropical depression has formed off the coast of Nicaragua that could develop into a hurricane and hit the Gulf Coast this weekend.

A National Hurricane Center advisory says that — other than land interaction with Central America over the next day or so — “environmental conditions look conducive for intensification.” As of 11 a.m., the system had sustained winds of 35 mph and was being called Tropical Depression Sixteen.

And the current track has it coming ashore as a hurricane in the Florida Panhandle on Sunday.

I have plywood for my windows now. Bring it on.
