How, no planks???
Lack of moisture barrier and lath problems.
No planks needed.
Here is a whole bunch of them.
What is going to keep the water out of this one?

Who’s fault should it be when it fails?
I would love links or any material you have on the subject.
Moisture barrier and lath problems
CSST would be handing out fines for that scaffold setup in my neck of the woods. Not cheep.
My insurance was 35 percent of my payroll.
My setup.
2 years ago today.Averaged minus 24C.
I can not enlarge the photo Carl.
I can not very well.
You have mail.
Yes thank you.
I sniped it and zoomed in but heavy pix-elation…
I see no barrier right off the top and do not know the proper barrier system to look for. What edge detail, gauges for mesh, if insulation can be apply under hard-coat or is it an EFIS system when apparent.
EFIS has gained in popularity in my neck of the woods.
Not so many weeping systems but I did inspect one.
Did the INACHI EFIS COURSE.
I will have to redo the course.
Any help would be more than appreciated.
I will email you when I start the course again Carol if that is OK.

Thanks mate.
Hard cote stucco and or Faux stone application.
Should have 2 layers of moisture barrier.
In the picture with the front porch/stoop poured against the vertical mulch with no moisture barrier placed there by the concrete sub there is NO way to install the stucco to spec and keep the water out.
Let alone the condensation from the inside rotting things out due to the freeze and thaw cycles here.
Barriers.
Simple as non perforated 15lb. felt?
Or something more substantial.
Hard to see the vertical mulch. I do see it.
The concrete slab in contact with the ply is a violation first of all. I have repair more stoop landing and extensions agienst a entrece than I can remember.
Should be a vertical flashing there. Any material suited for the exterior will do.
Hard to get my eyes around the photo to make a proper examination Carol, Sorry.
I will keep my eyes posted on the MB to follow you more.
Night mate.
I refer to OSB as vertical mulch!
Thank you.
Never heard it called that before.
Maybe if I stopped looking for something that is not there. HA HA HA
The yellow indicates what?
Does 15lb. non perforated felt count as vapor barrier or is code more subjective.
The yellow is bare vertical mulch/OSB.
I was told several years back that 15# felt was to good a product!!
By an industry ex-pert non the less.
ha ha ha ha.
