This is a sub-panel for a heat pump package unit; there are two hots and a ground coming in from the top from the main panel; the grounds are on a floating neutral bus with no bonding to box. Shouldn’t there be a neutral from the main and a bonding strap. Thanks
No neutral required for only 240 volt loads but you’re correct the EGC bus should be bonded to the enclosure. Depending on a few things you may have a derating issue with the 4 CCC’s in the FNMC.
Robert thanks for the quick reply; I would’t think the derating will be an issue as the conduit is only about a foot in length.
24" or less and you’re correct no derating required.
