Attention Texas-Licensed Home Inspectors
Starting 6 p.m. CT on Friday, November 8 through Monday, November 11, all TREC systems, including the Online Licensing Services portal and the Posting System, will be down because of planned electrical outages at agency headquarters. There are two other planned outages that will affect online agency services:
- Wednesday, November 27 at 6 p.m. CT through Sunday, December 1
- Friday, December 20 at 6 p.m. through Monday, December 23
If you need to complete education in order to renew your home inspector license prior to November 30th, InterNACHI and TREC strongly advise you proactively complete your courses ahead of an planned outage to avoid license renewal delays.You can begin TREC-approved education by going to nachi.org/education and selecting “Texas” under “Filter by Approvals”.
Understand that we cannot upload any credits during the planned outage periods and inspectors should take all possible steps to pass a course’s exit exam at least 5 days before a planned outage.
