The condo music has started again in S. Florida.

Twenty five new towers with 5200 units are being proposed in Miami while there are still 4200 unsold units left from the crash. Foreign buyers, largely from South America, but also from Europe, Russia and China, are flooding into the Miami area, and that has developers rushing to keep up with demand.

I’ll believe it when I see them break ground

Run down there Mike. There is plenty of work for a stucco guy…if you don’t mind being paid in burittos!

What is happening is that the Chinese are buying all these spots and then putting buildings on them. In 5 years they will sell them back to people and make a killing. Just watch.

Just so long as they build them it will help South Florida’s economy

Paying us back with our own money. Yep, great for the economy.

I do not care who buys and builds or sells. If they are smart enough to buy or build when the price or cost is low and have deep enough pockets to wait out a turnaround they deserve the profit.

Don’t be a hater just because you can’t swing those mega deals.

We are and will be witnessing the great sale of America! Only time will tell whether it will be good or bad.

Miami has been moving steady through the crash. Especially south Beach. We have been lucky being established in such a cosmopolitan market.

The demands of condos in Miami are still increasing. People are seeking to invest in Miami real estate. So there is no need to be afraid of unsold units.

Yes, the condo music has started in South Florida because the best architectures are moving into the marketplace trying to put up condos or planned condos in anticipation of a recovery in the next two years. So the picture will be totally different of Florida after few years.
