There’s Only One Way To Rock - Van Halen

It’s about the package as a whole, IMO both the David & Sammy years have pros & cons, and really, what can I say about Eddie that hasn’t already been said? But if I was backed into a corner and had to choose one or none, I’d have to go with the original band.

I still remember the day their first album was released, a friend of mine went to Peaches Records & Tapes (remember them?) to get a Robin Trower album, he said when he got there they were playing the new VH album on a loop and when heard it, even though he had never heard of Van Halen before, he knew he had to have it, so he bought it brought it to the keg part that night, and as I remember it was played on a loop for most the night there as well. From that day on I’ve been a big fan.
