Lol. Great to see Dean Martin show with Flip Wilson. That was comedy.
Even smoking on TV was allowed.
Did you watch the ash on Flip Wilson’s cigarette? His hands were moving all the time. The ash only fell off at the end.
Accusation Winston Churchill stuck a long pin into cigars. It was meant to keep his opponents focused on the ash instead of his arguments. Flip likely used it to I think keep any detractors focused on the cigarette and not the colorful jokes coming a mile a minute. Lol.
Life was so much easier to make political jokes back then.
