I don’t recall ever seeing a gas range with a recirculating vent/hood (microwave) installed above it.

I see them quite often in my area.

The main reason they want to ban gas ranges, natural gas anything for that matter, is that it is an abundant inexpensive fuel that is competing with the green dream.
