There are some significant changes that have taken place in regards to our Energy Codes / Title 24 effective July 1st 2014, that significantly affect the installation and replacement of Energy Related Products (think Windows / HVAC / Insulation / Roof etc ) that you may wish to become aware of. Obviously, we’re not Code Inspectors, but knowing that Serial numbers are now tracked on many products or that a HERS rating can be required for many common activities, such as HVAC replacement or window retrofits can’t hurt.
