You should really try and go Mario. I have gone twice this year already and going again in November. If you go you have to catch some striped Marlin (Tetrapturus Audax) for me. I would highly suggest visiting Minerva’s fishing shop. Go out with one of her boats and ask for a guy named Gil. I caught 7 Marlin, 1 Dorado, and a Sailfish in 3 days. Some boats you pay all this money and come in with nothing. Minerva’s guys are the best and go where no other boats go.

Sounds Like You Had A Lot Of Fun Fishing!!!

Too bad you can not move the dates around. I got my fishing report a week ago and it looked like some good fishing. This is the best time of the year to go so many different fish biting.
Dorado, Cravelle, Striped Marlin, Rusterfish, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna

If you can not make it this time around let me know when you plan to go again. I have the best connections for everything :wink:

“Home Inspections is the sole source of income for many of our members. Yes, perhaps some spend a lot of time here, but most don’t spend enough.”

Right on. At my talks I regularly ask attendees if they know about this NACHI benefit or that one, and only about 15% raise their hands. Chris Morrell once told me that only 4% of the membership benefits are being utilized. Here is an example: despite NACHI offering free websites to all members, (a simple benefit, not an ambiguous one), take a look at http://www.nachi.org/memberlist.htm on the right column that displays websites, about 1/2 our members haven’t even taken advantage of their free site www.inspectorpages.com and/or entered it into their member profile http://www.nachi.org/profileintro.htm so that they appear on our thousands of sites.

An inspector who does not frequent NACHI’s message board is like a stock broker who doesn’t watch the market.

I’m very diligent about posting main news at www.nachi.org/whats_new.htm I handle this page myself. So if you don’t have time to keep up with this message board, at least visit www.nachi.org/whats_new.htm

New one, here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3376556560922577468&q=home+inspection&hl=en

I have already customized it for two NACHI members.

Hope this helps;

Will -

Thats neat, how do we use it to link to off our web sites

Send me a first page picture (scan of your business card, logo, anything that is a jpeg picture). Send it in fairly large format, otherwise the blowup looks bluured and stupid.

If you have any other pictures (your truck, some inspection pictures, etc) send them as well.

If you want different music, send me a file with that as well.

I will customize a video for you and send it back, via e-mail. Then you simply link it to your web site and you are cookin’.

Free (and worth every penny :mrgreen: )

Hope this helps;

Will, can you tell me how to add streaming video to a website? I’m doing the website for my politician. Website is in place, just need to convert tapes to a format that I can put on the computer so I can work with it. Then he wants it added as streaming video.

Any suggestions? TIA

Just put a video file in the web site directory and link to it from a page hyperlink. HTML (and the browser) will do the rest.

Hope this helps;

Okay will do. Thanks!

Frost?? :shock: Hell Russ… August just ended!
We won’t see frost here till at least the end of November or beginning of December. I know it’s beautiful up there, but I just don’t think I could handle the winters.

Joe, it’s still around 90 these days, but the evenings can certainly drop.
Sep 1 was the magic date. If the plants had been covered that evening, they’d been OK.
Growing season is basically Memorial Day to Labor day, hence the 50’ greenhouse (& another to go up!)

Will,
Really great stuff - your offer open to all?

Yes, Dennis. (actually, only NACHI members and people who sent me gold coins :mrgreen: )
