# TREC announces virtual ride-along inspections for their licensing requirements

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the [Texas Real Estate Commission](http://www.nachi.org/texas) has allowed for temporary virtual ride-along inspections for their licensing requirements. For further information, please reach out to the state department.

Wow, that’s a head ache, I just bet the owner is going to love having there home videoed and broadcast over an unsecure network, real estate agents must love the idea, it’s hard now to get a ride along completed with one student. unless you are like some schools where the rent a house for a few days and take 5- students on one trip.

Thank you very much Alan … I think you have put together a good [plan](https://www.seoplanner.com) to keep going and not stop this important process in two months. My license expires. I will start to do the paperwork so that I don’t get caught carelessly. Very good information.
