What are some reasons an inspector may choose not to walk a roof?
I personally am very selective on the roofs I walk. Rooks with what I feel is excessive slope, above the height of my standard ladder, or have no safe area of access I depart from. Weather conditions such as dampness and in rare circumstances high wind or excessive heat can be reasons not to walk a roof. Roof material such as clay tiles and sub-decking not present can be reasons not to walk a roof.
