The US national debt rose by almost $7.8 trillion during Trump’s time in office. His argument now, tariffs on our trading partners due to drugs and illegal aliens’. The US “drug consumer” is to blame. Be real! Just say no…Lol Trump is to blame for the **8 trillion.** Why is Canada caught up in this fight? Why would you do this to a long standing ally? ---

The majority of that was COVID spending trying to keep the economy from collapsing. I think Trumps instincts on COVID were correct, but he could not effectively steer the US government towards a more pragmatic approach, which is indeed on him. That and refusing to address automatic spending were his downfalls. ---

For the rest of us, this is morning in America again and we are breathing a long sigh of relief that sanity is finally being restored. Not saying there will not be bumps along the way, but we are finally headed in the right direction. ---
