RALEIGH, N.C. (Jan. 31, 2005) -- In an upcoming episode of 'FearFactor Couples,' contestants are reportedly required to stand near an electric power substation and receive minor, "nuisance" shocks.

In reality, what Fear Factor describes as a nuisance shock could be extremely dangerous.

The episode is scheduled to air tonight, Monday, Jan. 31, at 8 p.m. (EST).

Simply making people eat a bug or have something yucky poured on them isn’t enough for people these days. I suppose a death on live TV is next.

Newton Minnow’s “vast wasteland” is starting to look pretty good these days. I would rather watch a rerun on Nick or TV Land than watch the drivel on network TV.

Greg,

I have to agree with you, although in addition to Nick and TV land I like the history and discovery channels. ![icon_cool.gif](upload://oPnLkqdJc33Dyf2uA3TQwRkfhwd.gif)
