Lets see, if the steel columns rust away and fall down because of chronic, unabated water penetration, I’m sure that scraps of lumber wedged on jacks will work just fine
#2 Got this nice 4000 lb. pizza oven and want it in the basement? Just leave it on the engineered floor trusses that cant support a concentrated load, and for good measure, ask the plumber to start cutting the truss.

Yeah, I start rambling on about why this is bad, going into a dissertation on proper support and stuff like squshblocks and the like… yapping away for a few minutes.
The guy appears to be absorbing it, stands qiuet for a few moments and says to me " So, you want a slice or something?"
Later, as I'm finishing up the inspection, he asks me if there are any problems.
