Underfusing

Perfect example of OVER Inspecting. (“Hospital Sanitary” “Restaurant Sanitary”)

Not to Hospital or Restaurant Sanitary, to what a REASONABLE person would think in their own home. HOME SANITARY

Over inspecting? Guess you prefer to UNDER inspect?

I asked how you define sanitary. To what standard.

Thread drift warning:

Beyond inspecting for possible cross connections between drain and waste, what “sanitary” issues would an HI call out?

Since HIs don’t do sampling for harmful micro organisms, how would they determine “sanitary” with out sampling and a lab?

Wait a minute, how do you decide what is safe? Based on what, your own personal experiences? Something else?

SO would you not report a 14 AWG conductor feeding a 30 AMP breaker if its been there for 10 years? What about AL wiring? No smoke alarms? No GFCI? No AFCI?

After all “If it aint broke, don’t fix it”

It’s easy, I guess …

The point being made is that the overcurrent device (circuit breaker) can be underrated for the conductor size. Allowable and will serve the purposes of safety.

Will it trip alot? maybe. Is it stupid, yes.

But safety is the overriding factor.

As well as what wire gauge the breaker is designed to allow.

Hope this helps.

Rick,
When you have at least 15 years or over 10,000 inspections under your belt come back and criticize me then.

Don’t know what your problem is. Must be that “WANTABE” complex.

It’s your type of ignorance is why I seldom come on this message board.

Have a good day and Happy Easter to you and yours
