(Climb into the attic yourself to inspect the structure, insulation, etc.
Use 3 flashlights (high-efficiency fixed, Makita, and mini pocket))

Can you share a few defects that you found this day, and what are your recommendations to your customer for those defects?
I’m also curious about rules or “codes” that may be different in Korea than in North America. For example, in the USA, the deck guardrails can not be “climbable” like the one on the deck of this home. Is that an issue in Korea or is it OK?

In this case, the house was inspected after the sale, and the condition of the house was not good due to various moisture problems and poor insulation.
The horizontal deck railing you mention is a potential hazard for children in South Korea, and we inform our customers of this risk in our report.
Building codes are not the same in North America as they are in South Korea, but the conclusion is the same because the goal of the code is safety.
