I think in general we get hit with this kind of a question (or series of questions) about once a month if not more. The guys herre are REALLY helpful, but the general rule of thumb is to use the search icon at the top of this page to do a search for what you are looking for.
You will find dozens of threads where just about everyone has weighe in on the issue of getting started at one time or another.
Good luck. Do a little digging, and then if you still have specific questions, try back. We were all there once....

I’m not sure what the “urgency” is, but it seems that your very general questions have been answered.
As Joseph explained, we get these questions quite often, and if you did some research on this board, you will likely find more answers than you will know what to do with.
