Three RULES to always remember:

1- If you try to sell things to friends or relatives, you will soon loose
their fellowship. If you want to remain in fellowship and still sell your
stuff to them, you must sell very lightly. It’s very hard to do
and most salesmen can’t resist the temptation. Let your deal sell
itself.

2- Don’t ever, ever, ever argue with the Customer. If the Customer
thinks your too pushy… YOU ARE TOO PUSHY. If you try and
argue that you are NOT to pushy… it just proves the point even
more.

3- Talk short and sweetly to alligators, they have a low patience threshold.
