Snow-6" above snowline, (10" above roof). Depending if you use IRC or UPC codes in your area. According to Code Check, "Transition to larger diameter 1' below roof".

Good Lord!  You a braver man than I Jeff if those are your foot prints. I was on a roof one evening just at sunset, when the dew point turned to freeze point and I almost took a header two stories down! I practically belly crawled back to the antenna tower I climbed up! Was a valuable lesson for how such a gritty surface can get so slippery. I'll NEVER walk a snow covered roof, and think twice when there is moisture on one with ambient temperature dropping!
Back on topic...
I agree with Gerry, local judgement in snow regions.

Hmmm … makes me wonder what they do with vent terminations in mountainous regions with heavy snow loads … like 10 foot snow load or more for some areas of the Rockies. Anybody know?
